Spencer was visiting "Camp Nanjay" when his family was on vacation, and we decided to sneak away to two dog shows --- and he came back a Canadian champion, giving his parents a delightful surprise! Spencer is the constant companion to the Palliser family, where he keeps his tail wagging when out cross-country skiing with his dad, sailing with the boys, or as loving "shadow" to his mom.

Mel earned his Canadian championship, undefeated, in 2 weekends with several BB (Best of Breed) wins along the way. He made his debut stateside by coming home with two majors after two days in the ring. He finished his American championship with some nice BB (Best of Breed) wins. He is pictured above in the open dog class at the 2000 American National, where he was awarded RWD (Reserve Winners). Mel spends his time playing with Danny (his younger brother), three pot-bellied pigs (!), AND cats -- and being cherished companion to Natalie Boyd and family. We are very excited about Mel's promising offspring.

Bentley was shown once as a junior puppy at the ESSCO specialty where he delighted us by earning BPISS (Best Puppy In Specialty Show) and a Sweeps BOS (Best of Opposite) in Sweepstakes. He finished his Canadian championship very quickly, earning several BB (over top winning specials) along the way. He was entered once as a special at the ESSCO specialty (when he was 19 months) where he won BISS (Best In Specialty Show) and BCBISS (Best Canadian Bred In Specialty Show), handled by good friend, William Alexander. Bentley retired from the ring after that, as it takes too much time doing important things -- like sharing his summers at his cottage with his four human children (I think he gets out of the water now and then!) and being cherished companion to the Frieberg family.
