Nanjay's Lady Katherina CD / CDX
Pictured above is a photo of "Katie", owned and trained by Chris Bryce. Katie was born on St. Patrick's day, March 17, 1996, and is a veteran now. However, when she was younger she used to work with Chris in obedience and compete in trials.
Katie and Chris had a few years away from the obedience ring but just made their debut as a "veteran" this past month at the Labrador Owner's and Hamilton Kennel Club Trials. Katie had fun her first day at the show, earning 192/200 in one of the trials, from the Open B class. She had a couple of "oh-oh's" (hey Dad, it's been years and years since I was in a trial, and I forgot some stuff). Katie spent two days sleeping after her wild weekend out -- a very tired (but happy) veteran!
Congratulations Chris and Katie -- we're very proud of you and applaud all of the hard work and effort it takes to be a CDX springer! And we'd like to wish you a very Happy 8th Birthday on this St. Paddy's Day!
 (Katie and Chris still miss their long-time friend and companion Maggie (Madame's Royal Penny CDX). Maggie was campaigned and became the #1 English Springer Spaniel and the #10 Sporting Dog in Obedience in Canada for 1992.)
